I was charged 9 pounds for 6 bananas + 50p for an item I didn't buy, the Indian lady was hoping I wouldn't ask for the receipt... shocking, a deliberate rip-offShe was on the phone with her mum the entire time too, not going back there again.
Popped in here this week to get some wine, beer etc to take back to our hotel room. The shop looked half empty and many items didn't have prices on them. Other items were very expensive. There was no chilled wine for me to buy so we left without buying anything and walked a little further on to the Tesco Express.
Popped in here to get cold drink after the theatre .What a very welcoming shop ,gentleman who was working went out off his way to help us .Very polite and friendly .Very much appreaciated by us .
Advertised as a convenience store but is far from it. Shelves are bare with out of date food on them, only one brand of cigarette in stock despite the large cupboard, doesn't take cards and the staff are disrespectful to females. I'm surprised it's still open for business although it may well be the takeaway side that is keeping it running. Avoid if you want convenience.
Shop that sells just about everything and is open just about all the time. Also has a hot counter serving various curries and other meals. One of the few places in Salford Quays that sells newspapers.
