Superb freshly cooked fish and chips well worth a wait when busy ..pity you have to consume food out of a cardboard box with plastic cutlery
i went with my mum on Sunday and was more than impressed. It might be a bit pricey yet it's well worth it for the scrumptious chips and the fish was excellent, the mushy peas too and all piping hot as it should be. It was lunch and was only one guy serving id say in his 40s. He was so polite even though the customers were racking up yet I thought what a great customer service he was giving, really made the experience special! My only annoyance is the tartar sauce is 25p a sachet i think it should be free. Instead i saturated the meal with loads of salt n vinegar as a proud Northerner I was in my element. Great place.
Love Harrys fish and chips. This pic is the kids meal of fish bites and has you can see you get a fair amount and the bites are quite large. The curry pot has shrunk since we lasted visited but still a lovely side dip for the fish or chips. Delicious and filling.

A fairly decent portion of fish and chips but damn expensive for what it is. The chips were nice and crispy but a little overdone. I imagine they are dipped again when order placed. Dear fish frying technicians - I love double cooked chips but perhaps you need to adjust the cooking temperature as were not cooking crisps here. The fish in the Legendary (XXL) was just the right size to fill the large black hole like void I had in my abdomen and comes highly recommended. To summarise 10 for fish and chips is dear no matter where youre from but reasonable quality / price ratio
