I usually go to the Hulme Store when buying or returning and never experienced any problems whatsoever. I returned 2 products on separate occasions at Salford RR Branch and wished I never bothered. 1st occasion, I returned some new and unopened wireless ear phones. I must have been stood watching the cashier trying to peel the unopened and unscathed security tag for about 10 mins. She only stopped when she couldn't be bothered and noticed my stare of disappointment and anger!2nd occasion. Brought a Levnovo Tab that was on sale but it was incredibly slow after booting up. It kept showing the white Lenovo loading sign and I didn't even get to transfer the data it was that bad. The Tab was rebooted to factory settings, no marks, no data and still had it's protective screen on. Went into the store and was dealt with by the manager at the time (Sam, I think). Explained my situation but he kept pointing to the big red Returns Policy notice on the wall. After arguing and watching him inspect every crescent of the Tab, he finally agreed to replace the Tab but as I had no faith in Lenovo, I requested a Samsung Tab A which was 100+ dearer. He made such a big fuss about it making it abundantly clear it doesn't matter if you are spending more. Do you really want to argue with a customer who (1) received a faulty product who can return it and receive a full refund (2) who is willing to pay more for a better product and (3) who is willing buy more items? F'in clueless sales tactics!!!I understand the no returns policy for opened items but if the product is faulty or not up to scratch, I am entitled to return it for a replacement or a full refund. If it wasn't for my mum's birthday, I would have returned it and asked for a full refund and they would have lost out on a sale, plus additional tab covers, screen protectors etc. What is even more disappointing, I was in there the other day and watched a customer return a similar tab, opened, and screen protector ripped off and was offered a full refund with no fuss! They didn't even need to get the F'n microscope out to examine it!!!I brought my Tab back in February but was compelled to write this review immediately. Absolutely fumin!!!FYI - Samsung Tab amazing. Levnovo Tab - better off as a brick
Being my closest argos I find this store to be the one that has most items available when ordering online. This is my first option and when ever I order something it always has it available and within reach for next day pickup. Great little store.
A small branch but with good selection and stock. The usual catalogues are there to browse with electronic ordering No problem usually. It's argos and it does what you expect
Busy road to get in but plenty of parking, lovely helpful smiley staff members. Nice shop atmosphere
Not the worst Argos store. Not the best Argos store.Long waits.Good cashiersIndifferent serving staff. You can hear them making not nice remarks about customers and denigrating other staff. Not the fastest service. It's an OK store .If you don't mind a bit of a wait.Best to go and see and judge by your own experience.
