Plenty of equipment. Entrances are a bit of a pain though
Standard pure gym. Mechines I usually useare liable to breaking however are always fixed in a couple of days. Could do with cleaning products to clean the equipment off before and after use but still a good gym.
Quiet in the evening, open 24/7 and friendly staff. 2 water fountains and decent changing rooms.
If u want liquid disinfectant by the door pad as u finish your workout, make sure you email them whenever you see it running low. Theyll tell u theyre waiting for a delivery (blabla), but at least youll see it topped up (missing now at the time of this review for 6 days).If u cant find something take a tour of the gym. Unlike the puregym on bury new road and others, they dont cancel ppls subscriptions when theu repeatedly leave stuff around. If u go 4-5 days in a row ull have a deja vu - the same bottles in the same places, left behind, no one puts stuff in the bin. Like that towel close to the mirror in the left room for 3 days (at the time of this review) or the green bottle just further down (2 days only).Dont know about the staff because ive never dealt with them (only management once gave me an excuse for no soap, but it seems to be a regular thing) and ive seen cleaners doing nothing but blowing their noses on the floor.Been 2 years in bury new road . Theres always soap. Cleaners tidy up and put weights away, but the managemebt is also strict abt thkse who move weights and never bring them back.To me it looks like the kind of gym where no onr gives a f.Moving to the one in eccles . Cant be worse than salford.. if also messy, ill just go back to bury new road.
Signed up at the gym looking forward to a good workout yet staff were nowhere to be seen until I saw a young guy/boy staff member who was quite cold,its like he couldn't get away quick enough . Being my first time as a new customer I'd have expected at least just a quick show around but he was very unhelpful,yet cheerful with what seemed like a regular,be consistent and value all the members not just your buddy ones.
