Lovely place for walking dogs the hall is amazing to visit. The views over the city are breath taking.
Lovely place to entertain the kids, weather permitting, with a small but well thought out play area and plenty of open spaces for playing football etc.
Not as good as in 1940s and 50s. The bottom end is not as well tended as the top. The so-called football area is poor ,more like a quagmire. The paths at area top of Derby and Seedley Park roads have rust coloured water running by the kerbside. This has been going on for many many years. The top end by Eccles Old road is tended to much better than the lower end. Not fair at all.
Great park. With beautiful places to walk about or take a nice run. They have the best bonfire night fireworks. Always go all out. Each year better than the next.
Really nice park for an autumnal walk. Relatively clean and well-kept. No real sign of facilities such as water fountain or bathroom. Play area, basketball pitch and outdoor gym (albeit heavily weathered) present .
